Welcome to Villa Rigas



Villa Rigas is a second generation family owned property set in large, mature landscaped gardens. The Villa is located in the Kanapitsa Region of the highly sought after Kalamaki Peninsula on the beautiful Island of Skiathos, Greece.

Our Greek Home is a closely guarded secret family retreat, which we have now deceided to share with only a handful of people a year.

The apartment for rental is completely self contained and nestles in the grounds of the main Villa; benefitting from it's own parking area, dedicated entrance and private secluded terrace with sun lounger and table & chairs.

Skiathos is the greenest and most popular of the Sporades Islands. The secluded terrace offers uninterupted panoramic views of this beautiful landscape and surrounding islands. A sample of these can be seen in the pictures above.

The Villa stands approximatley 1000 meters from the closest bus stop where there is a regular service to all parts of the island; there is also a well stocked supermarket and taverna's within walking distance. Kanapitsa Bay is a five to ten minute walk away; this is one of over sixty beaches on the island and boasts a Taverna/Bar, water taxi to Skiathos Town, sunloungers and full watersports including motor boat rental.

The apartment has a fully fitted and functional kitchen comprising of:
* fridge/freezer
* cutlery/crockery
* oven/cooker
* iron/ironing board
* first mornings provisions
* kettle
* toaster
* coffee pot



There is a spacious living area including a double bed and seating. A stereo, fan, mosquito repeller plug and hairdryer will all be provided. There is a seperate fitted bathroom.

The apartment is cleaned on a daily basis and linen changed twice weekly.

We will collect and return you to and from the airport or port on your arrival and departure and can help you with car or scooter hire during your stay if required.

This is a perfect destination for the lone traveller or couples alike who are looking for a self catering break. Skiathos offers something for everyone, your holiday will be as busy or quiet as you wish; the only thing you can't control is the guaranteed sunshine. Skiathos is an extremely popular destination and all aspects can be eaisly researched online.

We own a six meter outboard rib and will be happy to take you out on this; either round the island, to secluded beauty spots or even to the neighbouring Island of Skopolos or the Mainland for lunch! This will however be at extra cost.
